I am very excited to share these new songs! I have been encouraged by these songs. I have grown closer to God through these songs. I have longed for others to be able to pray these songs with me.

I reflected this in the way that these songs are recorded. This is not a polished album with takes upon takes and studio musicians. The RESTORED album is me playing my guitar before God alone because in the end, He is the One we will stand before. He will know what is beyond what is polished and on the surface.

These are songs that have been written over the course of a few years after the Polk Street Band was disbanded. I was the principal songwriter for that group, and in fact the group came from writing original material. I have longed to write music because it has the ability to move us. Music has a way of revealing a phrase of hope in times of trouble. Music has a way of reminding us that God creates good things.

This album and this website is a labor of love. I want all people to come into union with the Church, and I wonder if a key to this is through connecting through our suffering. Many of these songs came as a response to hard times.
