Holy God We Praise Thy Name

New take on an old classic

A couple of months ago, I had the song "Holy God We Praise Thy Name" going through my mind. I started thinking about a way that the song could be done with the guitar while having more of a "driving pulse" behind it.

So, with guitar in hand and Divine inspiration flowing, a modified instrumentation was developed. It is in 6/8 time and the key is in E, versus the traditional F. The key of E allows for the guitar to sound more open and full.
